Mr Rakshit Bhattacharjee
Mr. Rakshit Bhattacharjee is Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) (October 2016-till date). He is responsible for coordinating the monitoring and evaluation activities of the projects of BEI. He earned his baccalaureate and master’s degree from the department of Social Work at the Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Bhattacharjee is an advanced expert with specialization in M&E, MIS, research, statistics, database management, project planning and management, knowledge management, documentation and reporting. He has been working in the development and research arena since 2008. He served organizations like, BRAC and Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) as Monitoring, evaluation and Research specialist.
In his entire work incumbency he gained experience in designing mixed methodology research, participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, performance assessment, developing and updating result chain, determine indicators of change, measuring change of indicators, reporting results and managing the whole system of results management.
Mr. Bhattacharjee’s have excellent understanding about development issues like; Early Childhood Development, Primary Education, women empowerment, human right, functional literacy, primary education, food security , livelihood gender, countering radicalization and extremism, etc.
Mr. Bhattacharjee has remarkable experience in guiding small scale and medium scale study by supervising data collection team, data entry person as well as few research associates for data analysis.
With about eight years of experience in research and M&E field, he has to his credit for published write up as well as many unpublished research works. Some of Mr. Bhattacharjee research works include, The Role and Status of the Women of Laladeghirpar Slum of Sylhet City: A Study, Personal skills and social action – Adult literacy in the FIVDB strategy”, Change in household conditions in Jonoshilon program villages – With particular reference to livelihood training Analysis of the 2013 Community-Based Change Ranking Survey and Integrated partnership between Echotex Ltd. And BRAC: A need assessment for worker welfare within garments setting, 2015.
