A three day training workshop entitled ‘Role of Youth in Preventing Radicalization and Violent Extremism’ was held from 27 February 2018 to 1 March 2018 in Palashbari Upazila, Gaibandha. Thirty YFPSH members from two institutions of the upazila, Palashbari Adarsha Degree College and Mather Bazar Abu Baker Fazil Degree Madrasa participated in the workshop. The training workshop was held under the project named “Preventing Radicalization and Violent Extremism through Empowering Youth” implemented by Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), Dhaka and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
