A workshop on “Improving Social Business and Entrepreneurship through Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) in Bangladesh”

Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) in collaboration with British Council Dhaka organised a workshop on Improving Social Business and Entrepreneurship through Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) in Bangladesh held on 26th November 2011, at Hotel Westin, Dhaka, from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM.

The workshop intends to generate awareness and sensitize different stakeholders, including policymakers, government agencies, the private sector, technical and vocational training institutions, academia, civil society, NGOs and media on the issues relating to improving Social Business, Entrepreneurship through Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET). In addition to that, the workshop will also focus on the modalities and possibilities of public-private partnership (PPP) which could play a vital role in fostering the growth of social enterprises and the TVET sector in Bangladesh.
