BEI Senior Research Director, Mr. Faiz Sobhan, was invited to present a paper on “BIMSTEC: A Bangladesh Country Perspective” at a regional workshop on “BIMSTEC at 20: Priorities and Prospects” organized  ISAS, COSATT and KAS in Singapore on 25 September 2018. 

Participants included senior officials and experts from the member countries including the BIMSTEC Secretary-General, Director General, Bangladesh Institute of International Strategic Studies, and Director General, Institute of National Security Studies, Sri Lanka, a former ASEAN Secretary General and a former Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal, among others.
