A three day training workshop entitled ‘Role of Youth in Preventing Radicalization and Violent Extremism’ was held from 24 February 2018 to 26 February 2018 in Sundarganj Upazila, Gaibandha. Thirty YFPSH members from two institutions of the upazila, Sundarganj D W Degree College and Dhumaitari Siddiquia Fazil Madrasah participated in the workshop. The training workshop was held under the project named “Preventing Radicalization and Violent Extremism through Empowering Youth” implemented by Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), Dhaka and funded by Global Affairs Canada.
