A BEI delegation led by Amb. Farooq Sobhan, President, BEI, and comprising of senior government officials, including Amb. Munshi Faiz Ahmad, Chairman, and Major General Abdur Rahman, Director General of Bangladesh International Institute of Strategic Studies (BIISS), and senior BEI staff, met with senior officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing on 18 October, and discussed bilateral, regional and security issues, including the visit of President Xi Jinping to Bangladesh on 14-15 October 2016.
