On 11 April 2019, Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) organized a roundtable discussion on ‘Belt and Road Initiative and the Indo-Pacific Strategy’ with the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), china’s largest, oldest and most influential civilian research institutes for international studies. The discussion was chaired by Ambassador Farooq Sobhan, Distinguished Fellow & Board Member, Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI).

Humayun Kabir, Acting President, BEI; Ambassador Tariq Karim; Ambassador Suhrab Hossain, Advisor BEI; Mr. Faiz Sobhan, Senior Research Director, BEI; Professor Shahab Enam Khan, Research Director, BEI; and Dr. Abdur Razzak, Project Team Leader, Trade and Investment, BEI attended the roundtable discussion.
