A 12 member delegation, led-by Ambassador Farooq Sobhan, President of BEI, visited China from 17 October to 21 October 2017.

On 19 October 2017, BEI delegation took part in a seminar organized by Anbound, a private sector think-tank in Beijing. Some of the issues discussed in the seminar are as follows:

• Bangladesh China Relations: One Belt & One Road Initiative (OBOR)
• China Bangladesh Trade and investment

China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) organized another seminar for BEI delegation on 20 October 2017. Issues discussed at the seminar are as follows:

• Strengthening Economic Cooperation between China and Bangladesh
• Potential Cooperation for China and Bangladesh on One Belt One Road Initiative (OBOR)
